Really couldn’t have asked for a better trip! Captain Mike and Crew met us at the dock, and were ever hospitable and instantly personable. Captain Mike is full of stories, history, and knowledge of the region and its legends and lore … and a little leg-pulling for good measure!
The wildlife encounters during the tour were breathtaking. We spotted a variety of species, including alligators, birds, and turtles, among others. The guides’ keen eyes and expert knowledge allowed us to observe these animals in their natural habitat without disturbing them. It was truly awe-inspiring to witness the harmony and beauty of the wildlife in this pristine environment.
In addition to the airboat ride, Sea Serpent Tours offered a range of optional add-ons, such as eco-walking tours and photography workshops. These additional activities catered to diverse interests and provided a more comprehensive experience for visitors.
We were lucky to have a great warm day the first week of January, and could have spent the entire day on the airboat with him … he was even gracious enough to cool us off a few times 😉
